Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryDOUGLAS GARRIOCH With sadness, the family announces the passing of Douglas Garrioch on Sunday, January 27, 2013, at the Health Sciences Centre, at 62 years of age after a lengthy battle with cancer. A memorial service celebrating Dad's life will be held on Saturday, February 2 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Voyage Funeral Home, 220 Hespeler at Henderson Highway. In honour of Doug, we ask that everyone please wear jeans to his service. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Children's Wish Foundation.

I was sorrowed about the news of Doug's passing. We had a lot of fun as kids when he or Fern were babysitting and listening to Patsy Cline albums. Doug was a good man. Our son Darin worked along side of Doug roofing when he was in his young years. Doug & Darin became good friends. We enjoyed small talk with Doug over a cold beer.
